Walls reaches No. 1 in sales in Spain with “El Día que me Olvides”.

The Murcian artist signs the biggest milestone of his career and consolidates his place in the new Spanish pop-rock scene.

There are albums that come at the right time. And there are others that mark a before and after. El Día que me Olvides, Walls‘ third studio album, clearly belongs to the second category. Released this week, the album has debuted directly at number 1 in the official sales chart in Spain, becoming the most successful work to date of the artist from Murcia.

The achievement is not only commercial. The same day of its release, Walls also reached his best historical position in the Top Artists Spain chart, confirming a constant evolution that places him as one of the most solid and recognizable voices of the current national pop-rock.

An album that connects from a personal point of view

Composed of 12 songs, El Día que me Olvides represents a qualitative leap in Walls’ career. The album bets for a more organic, emotional and timeless sound, with clear references to 90’s pop-rock, but without falling into empty nostalgia.

The common thread of the album revolves around farewells, memory and the emotional legacy we leave behind when we are gone. In the center of this story appears the figure of her father, intimate and emotional axis of the project.

“This album doesn’t want you to remember me forever, it doesn’t want to fight against oblivion either. It just wants to leave something before it goes. It’s my way of saying thank you,” explains Walls himself.

Far from grandiloquence, the album transforms a deeply personal experience into a shared emotion, making each song work as a refuge for the listener.

From studio to live and Madrid as next key stop

After topping the charts, Walls is already looking ahead to the next big moment of his career:
📍 February 21 – Movistar Arena (Madrid).

It will be there where he will present El Día que me Olvides live, in one of the most important dates of his tour. The concert comes after a successful signature campaign that gathered more than 1,300 people in different cities, confirming the real and direct connection of the artist with his audience.

The Madrid event is shaping up to be one of the key concerts at the start of 2026, with the last tickets already available.

Quiet but unstoppable growth

The success of El Día que me Olvides is not the result of a viral formula or an ephemeral phenomenon. It is the result of a patient artistic construction, of songs that prioritize emotion over posturing, and of an honest relationship with their audience.

Walls proves that it is still possible to grow from the truth, without renouncing artistic ambition or popular impact. And this number one does not sound like a goal, but a starting point.
