The Horrors return with new album and renewed sound

After a seven-year silence, The Horrors are ready to return to the music scene with their new album, Night Life. This will be the band’s first work since the release of V in 2017.

The original lineup has undergone some changes in recent years. Keyboardist Tom Furse left the band in 2021 and drummer Joe Spurgeon has followed in his footsteps. However, the original core of singer Faris Badwan and bassist Rhys Webb remains intact.

For Night Life, The Horrors have been joined by founding guitarist Joshua Hayward, as well as keyboardist Amelia Kidd and drummer Jordan Cook. This new ensemble promises a fresh, renewed sound.

The album will be available on March 21, 2025. In addition, the band has announced a series of concerts in the UK, which you can find on their website.

In the meantime, you can listen to the first single, “The Silence That Remains” and watch its video.
