Rosalía ends her “Motomami World Tour” at Lollapalooza Paris

Last Saturday night, twelve-time Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner Rosalia ended her unforgettable first world tour and festival “Motomami World Tour” with a sold-out show at Lollapalooza Paris. The performance, which drew 55,000 people, marked the end of a great artistic feat and one of the most critically acclaimed tours of the decade.

The world tour took the Barcelona-born artist around the world in 68 performances in 21 countries on 3 continents. After a full year of touring presenting his resounding album Motomami (Sony Music, 2022), she performed in front of an audience of almost 2 million people around the world, receiving the best reviews from the specialized and general music press in every country where she performed.

The first stage of the tour began on 6 of July from 2022 at AlmeriaSpain, with fans lining up for days at the venue’s gates, offering Rosalia an unforgettable evening with innovative choreography coupled with her world-class vocal skills throughout a show consisting of more than 30 songs based on the aforementioned Grammy-winning LP, as well as other compositions from his repertoire.

That leg of the tour, produced by Live Nation, had 46 performances in 15 countries and 3 continents before finishing in Europe on December 18 with a performance at the famous Accor Hotels Arena in Paris, where the French audience sold out one of the most anticipated dates of the tour in Europe.

Rosalía started the year with the second part of her successful festival tour around the world. Latin America, United States and Europe, dazzling audiences throughout Latin America, performing in front of more than 300,000 fans, with an average of 50,000 attendees per night. She made history as the first Spanish-language headliner at Lollapalooza Argentina, Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Brazil, as well as Asuncionico.

In addition, she prevailed at Coachella with a stunning performance that the press called “mesmerizing” (Grammy.com), “unforgettable” (Harper’s Bazaar) and “groundbreaking” (Pitchfork). She then completed an unprecedented performance with a free concert in Mexico City’s Zócalo, being the first Spanish female artist to bring together more than 170,000 people, with fans camping out days before to guarantee entrance to the plaza.
