The Canarian artist, who rose to fame with “Cayó la noche” and the session 52 with the Argentinean producer Bizarrap, signs his first album this Friday, January 20.
Quevedo is barely over twenty years old and has elevated commercial music from the archipelago to the whole world. He joined forces across the pond with Gonzalo Julián Conde, who we all know as Bizarrap, in a song that already has over a million plays. To the surprise of many, he also did it with UK’s Ed Sheeran on “2step” and the rest is history.

A story that deserves to be told and that comes from Quevedo’s perception in his first album, “Donde quiero estar”, which lands under the umbrella of Taste The Floor, cradle of first class rap in Spain, and Warner Music Spain. An album that has been introduced by the singles “SIN SEÑAL”, “PLAYA DEL INGLÉS”, “PUNTO G” and “VISTA AL MAR” throughout 2022, and that lay the groundwork for Quevedo’s “Donde quiero estar” to see the light of day this Friday.
This is how Quevedo announced the release of “Donde quiero estar” through his social networks:
“What I try to show with this album is the way in which I look for and find where I want to be, both from the geographical sense and from the sense of my career (…) When everything goes so fast and you don’t have time to stop, it’s complicated to know. I’m still fulfilling dreams, objectives and goals; sometimes I don’t have time to enjoy and set others. I almost don’t have time to keep dreaming”, the Canary Islander seems to lament.
The truth is that he is endorsed by industry greats, and supported by his best colleagues, who are lucky enough to also be artists who move the world of music.
