Niña Polaca and Amaral release “Los Días Malos” and it becomes a choral jewel of Spanish pop.

By LoffMusic – May 2025

Niña Polaca brings the Que Adoren Tus Huesos era to a close with a gift to their followers and to national pop: a new version of “Los Días Malos” performed with none other than Amaral. This collaboration is not only exciting because of its symbolism – the union between one of the most powerful emerging bands and one of the most iconic names in Spanish pop-rock – but also because of its sonic result: a song revisited with care, emotional strength and a renewed production that completely transforms it.

Eva Amaral, pure emotion; Juan Aguirre, electric elegance.

Eva Amaral gives her all in this revision, providing a vocal charge that elevates the song to almost epic territories. Her interpretation does not detract from Niña Polaca, but rather complements them, creating an intergenerational and emotional harmony that is difficult to match. On the other hand, Juan Aguirre puts his stamp with new guitar arpeggios that envelop the song in a warmer and more organic atmosphere.

The production is by the usual Guille Mostaza, who revisits and readjusts the original song – one of the most powerful tracks on the album – to give it a different identity. The chorus is given new life with sharper arrangements, and the result feels like an emotionally expansive remix.

A dream collaboration and a perfect closing

This new version of “Los Días Malos” marks the end of the cycle of revisions of Que Adoren Tus Huesos, the album that has catapulted Niña Polaca to the forefront of the Spanish indie scene. With more than 20 million streams on Spotify and a tour with 27 sold out concerts, including five dates at La Riviera (Madrid), the group says goodbye to a stage that has been a before and after in their career.

A tour not to be missed

Niña Polaca does not slacken the pace and this 2025 they will be present in a long list of festivals: Interestelar, Rita’s Indie Fest, Vibra Mahou Fest Gijón, Spring Festival, Palencia Sonora, Les Arts, Festival de los Sentidos, Galaxy Sound, Membra Fest, Low Festival, Santander Music, SonRías Baixas, Cooltural Fest, Granada Sound, Muralla Indie, Caudal Fest, FIZ Festival and Gran Canaria SUM Festival. The band from Madrid has become a must on the summer circuit, taking their raw energy, visceral lyrics and urban spirit to every corner of the country.

One disc, many lives

With this version with Amaral, Que Adoren Tus Huesos says goodbye in the form of a choral tribute. During the last year, the album has lived a second life with luxury collaborations: Carlangas, Sexy Zebras, David Ruiz (La M.O.D.A.), Travis Birds, Dani Fernández, David Kano and Antifresco, among others, have left their mark on a work already intense, imperfect and deeply human.
