From Cadiz comes NEON VAMPIRE, a band that has decided to bite the night with class, mixing melodic sophistication with the electric pulse of a timeless pop. Heirs of their previous project Champagne -with which they released three albums and performed at Ebrovisión, Lemon Pop or No Sin Música-, the group returns renewed, sharper and with their own identity.

The origin: from Champagne to Neon Vampire

The history of NEON VAMPIRE was born as a natural evolution of Champagne, a project that took them all over Spain and allowed them to share the stage with names like Teenage Fanclub, Cooper or Los Hermanos Dalton.

With the new name also comes a new sound skin: a project that, more than a name change, is a metamorphosis. From this creative maturity comes a style where Wilsonian-inspired vocal harmonies (Brian Wilson, of course), E.L.O. soul synthesizers, atmospheric guitars and emotional bases that breathe organically.

Stones for diamonds: melodies that illuminate

After their eponymous debut, NEON VAMPIRE present Piedras por diamantes, an album of ten songs that consolidate their universe. Produced by the band itself at Neón Estudios and mixed and mastered by Javi Rondán (except for the last two tracks, by J. M. Rosillo), the album displays a wide range of sounds where the melody is the meeting point.

In each track there is a search for balance between emotion and texture, between acoustic warmth and digital precision. It is a work that smacks of handcrafted perfection: elegant pop with southern soul.

NEON sound: between the ethereal and the human

In their music you can recognize clear influences -from the Beach Boys to British dream pop, from ELO to national indie-, but what defines NEON VAMPIRE is their way of turning nostalgia into movement. Their sound is broad, enveloping and emotionally precise.

The guitars build atmospheres, the keyboards open up spaces, and Paolo’ s lead vocal acts as the guiding thread of an emotional journey. The result: pop that sounds big, but still feels intimate.

A band with present and future

With their incorporation to the national indie circuit and an increasingly solid live performance, NEON VAMPIRE are confirmed as one of the most promising Andalusian proposals of the moment. Their songs sound like emotion, like pop sophistication, like that school of craftsmen who prioritize the song over artifice.
