The singer and guitarist Mikel Izal is in the news again announcing his first solo song after the dissolution of his former band, the popular IZAL. The resounding farewell of the group IZAL
Last fall the group formed by Mikel Izal with Alberto Pérez (guitars, ukulele, backing vocals), Emmanuel Pérez (bass and backing vocals), Alejandro Jordá (drums and percussion) and Iván Mella (keyboards and synthesizers) offered their last two concerts at the WiZink Center in Madrid. Two nights in which they hung the “sold out” sign that served to end a stage that lasted a dozen years full of great moments for its protagonists and its public.
With six albums to their credit and more than a decade touring intensely around the peninsula and other locations in the world, they unexpectedly ended a stage that no one can predict they will resume in the future, but the truth is that they have been one of the reference names of what we currently know with the label “…”.indie“.
