Iconic Duran Duran Duran bassist John Taylor has joined forces with designer Patty Palazzo to launch the second installment of his athleisure wear collection, JT x PM, available May 7. This collaboration fuses punk aesthetics with the comfort of athleisure style, offering garments that reflect Taylor’s irreverent and sophisticated personality.
👕 A Collection with History and Style
Patty Palazzo, founder of Punk Masters, has worked with Taylor since the mid-1990s, collaborating on design projects for Duran Duran and other well-known brands. The JT x PM collection includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, jogger pants and caps, all with bold graphic designs and provocative messages such as “Chic as Fuck” and “Shit Show.” Each piece is hand screen-printed by Palazzo, ensuring quality craftsmanship and production.

🎨 Inspiration in Dada Art and Pop Culture
The second capsule collection between John Taylor and Punk Masters is deeply influenced by the Dada art movement, fused with the music scene of the late ’70s and early ’80s. Long before Duran Duran existed, young John was playing in a band called DADA, and, as he jokes, he has “always had issues with Dadaism” – or as he likes to say, “I have issues with Dada.”
Patty Palazzo explains that, over nearly 30 years of collaboration, the two have designed countless T-shirt logos, working on brands such as Juicy Couture, Duran Duran and, of course, Punk Masters. Since founding their brand in 2009, Taylor has been a constant source of ideas, inspiration and feedback. In that spirit, they decided to take it a step further and create a truly collaborative line.
Each piece – t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and joggers – is screen-printed by hand with eco-friendly water-based inks, reaffirming the project’s commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship. In addition, all products are available for purchase online, with detailed images of each model in the official Punk Masters store.

🌍 Social Commitment and Sustainability
In addition to its artistic focus, JT x PM has a charitable component. A portion of sales goes to organizations helping victims of the Eaton and Palisades fires in Los Angeles. The handcrafted production and use of water-based inks reflect the brand’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
