DELACUEVA releases “Estoy Jodido”, a cry attuned to sentimental chaos

DELACUEVA launches Estoy Jodido, a cry attuned to sentimental chaos

Summer is over and with it the untimely romances, the days in bathing suits and the nights that seem endless. September arrives, with its slap in the face of reality, and DELACUEVA sums it up in three words: Estoy Jodido. That’s the title of their new single, a direct shot that turns sentimental confusion into an anthem to chant when everything falls apart.

Sweat, electricity and contradictions

The song is pure adrenaline. It sounds fast, intense, with a wild touch that makes DELACUEVA’s usual guitar pop closer to rock. The chorus is one of those that you can’t forget and that ask to be shouted at the top of your lungs in any room.

But behind that energy there is a brutally sincere lyric: the feeling of not knowing what you want in a relationship, and feeling just as lost if the other person is there as if they are not. That looped thought that we have all had at some time, Manuel de la Cueva transforms it into music with a raw, unadorned language, that hits you squarely.

The team behind the theme

Estoy Jodido is produced by Noel Campillo, mixed by Diego García and mastered by Víctor García. Jorge Portillo is on guitars, Carlos Montull on bass and Dani Katena on drums. The composition and vocals, as always, are in charge of Manuel de la Cueva himself, who puts all his emotional pulse in the song.

The music video, made by Vanilla Bloom, premieres on September 18 and promises to give a visual face to this emotional storm.

An artist who does not believe in immediacy

Beyond the single, DELACUEVA continues to demonstrate that he is clear about his place in music. He criticizes the culture of immediacy and defends that songs are born to be lived live. He proved it this spring, when he premiered in concerts all the unreleased pieces of his first album before releasing them officially.

Barely 30 years old, he has already accumulated awards as Best Group 2021 and Best Album 2022 at the Aragonese Music Awards, as well as having represented Spain at the Universal Expo in Dubai. And now, facing the end of 2025, he faces the release of his debut solo album with the confidence of someone who knows that he is signing the best material of his career: “It’s the first time in my life that I know that these songs are the best”, he confesses.

With Estoy Jodido, DELACUEVA doesn’t just release a single: he delivers a catharsis that anyone can feel as their own.
