Madrid-based artist Recycled J has released his new EP, “Preludio”, an appetizer of his upcoming album “San Jorge”, which is expected this 2024. This five-song EP marks a return to the artist’s origins, both musically and conceptually.
After the success of his album “Casanova”, Recycled J embarks on a new project that represents a return to his musical roots. “Preludio” offers us a first taste of what will be “San Jorge”, a darker and more mysterious album that explores themes such as introspection and personal growth.
The EP includes five songs: “KILOMETROZERO”, “CABEZA DE RATON”, “JEALOUSY”, “GANAS” and “BABY BOO”. The first two were already released as singles and gave us an idea of the new musical direction of Recycled J. The remaining three songs are completely new and complete the “Prelude” experience.
“Prelude” features collaborations with artists such as Juicy BAE, Barry B and Selecta. These collaborations add freshness and variety to the EP and demonstrate Recycled J’s versatility as an artist.
The cover of “Preludio” is designed by visual artist @juanpablodelahaye: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5wp28WMC1n/ and perfectly reflects the concept of the EP. A wild and lonely black horse on a futuristic green background. The horse represents the road to “St. George” and the artist’s transformation.
“Prelude” is a must-have EP for fans of Recycled J. It’s a taste of the artist’s evolution and a preview of what’s to come. “St. George” promises to be an epic album full of surprises.
