The musical group Amaral formed by Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Sonorama Ribera festival in Burgos. During the show, the vocalist of the Zaragozano duo said: “This is for Rocio. By Rigoberta. By Zahara. By Miren. By Bebe. For all of us. Because no one can take away the dignity of our nakedness.“.
Afterwards, the singer took off her sequined T-shirt and sang bare-chested the song ‘Revolution‘ included in his fourth album Birds On The Head (EMI, 2005), turning their commemorative performance into an act of vindication for women’s freedom in these times of repression that take us back to past times.
After their show they offered a press conference that we did not want to miss, led by Javier Ajenjo, Director of the Sonorama Ribera festival, who introduced the musical stars of the night in the press area to the accredited journalists and media.
