MELIFLUO RELEASES “LO QUE TENGA QUE PASAR”, THEIR NEW SINGLE, A PREVIEW OF “VOCES EXTERNAS”.

The band MELIFLUO, led by brothers Juan Carlos and Antonio Gómez Parrilla (former members of Supersubmarina and Casasola), is back with a new preview of their long-awaited second album. “Lo Que Tenga Que Pasar” is now available on all digital platforms and marks the fourth single from the album Voces Externas, which will be released on March 7th through Calaverita Records.

Lo Que Tenga Que Pasar” is a song that invites us to live in the present and disconnect from the mental noise. With an enveloping shoegaze touch, the band achieves an atmosphere charged with ethereal guitars and a constant drum groove that immerses us in a swing of emotions.

This new song, like the rest of the album, has been recorded at Estudio Uno under the production of Paco Salazar, consolidating MELIFLUO’s evolving sound.

The road to “External Voices”.

The release of Voces Externas is one of the most anticipated events in the Spanish alternative scene. The three previews prior to the new single have had a great reception on streaming platforms, standing out in official playlists and receiving praise from both the media and the band’s fans. Now, with “Lo Que Tenga Que Pasar”, MELIFLUO reaffirms its sound identity and generates more expectation for the release of the full album.

MELIFLUO: a constant evolution

Since its formation in 2019, MELIFLUO has been building a musical trajectory that combines the strength of pop rock with sonic experimentation. After releasing their first album Pasado_Futuro in 2021 and consolidating their sound with tracks like “15 Pitis” and Buenaventura EP in 2022, the band has continued to evolve. In 2023, the incorporation of “Jay” (guitarist of Supersubmarina) further strengthened the line-up, which already included Edu (guitar) and Juanan (bass).

In 2024, the recording of Voces Externas and their signing with Calaverita Records have been a great boost for the band. This year and next promise to be decisive for MELIFLUO, with more than 15 festivals confirmed, among them San San Festival, Sound Isidro Madrid, OleoSonica Jaén, Palencia Sonora, Polifonik Sound, Planeta Sound, Cooltural Fest and Granada Sound.

With Lo Que Tenga Que Pasar, MELIFLUO reaffirms its position within the national indie scene, offering a mature, forceful and emotionally charged musical proposal.
