The American band will present its new line-up and legendary hits in Munich at one of the most watched sporting events in the world

On May 31, 2025, the Allianz Arena in Munich will host one of the most anticipated musical events of the year: Linkin Park will headline the opening show of the UEFA Champions League Final, presented by Pepsi. The announcement not only confirms the triumphant return of one of the most influential rock bands of the 21st century, but also consolidates its new phase with the addition of vocalist Emily Armstrong, who replaces the unforgettable Chester Bennington.

“From Zero”: A New Beginning for Linkin Park

After seven years of recording silence, the band returned in November 2024 with “From Zero”, their first album with Emily Armstrong on vocals and Colin Brittain on drums. The album, loaded with new influences and renewed sounds, quickly reached No. 1 in more than 10 countries, reigniting the passion of millions of fans around the world.

A global show, an unstoppable energy

In the words of the band: “With our new album and tour underway, the energy from the fans has been incredible. We want to share that excitement at the Champions show, with songs from yesterday and today that will mark a new era for us.”

The performance will be broadcast live to millions of viewers via UEFA’s official broadcasters and YouTube channel, minutes before the eagerly awaited final of European soccer’s most prestigious tournament kicks off.

An explosive mix of music and soccer

As a preview, Linkin Park has released an exclusive remix that fuses their iconic hit “Numb” with typical soccer sounds: whistles, kicking the ball and the chants of the fans, in a video that has already gone viral.

Eric Melis, Pepsi’s global vice president, said, “Working with Linkin Park on this event fits perfectly with our innovative spirit. It will be an unforgettable show that unites the passion for music and soccer.
