The Canary Islands are once again on the map of national alternative music.
The fifth edition of LALA MUSIC will bring together from April 9 to 11, 2026 in San Cristobal de La Laguna (Tenerife) the most exciting emerging talent of the islands, adding this year the support of two key names of the Spanish alternative culture: Samantha Hudson and Parquesvr.
More than a festival, LALA MUSIC consolidates itself as a professional market and urban showcase that connects local artists with programmers, press and national promoters.
And this 2026 comes with renewed ambition.
An open call to discover the new sound of the Canary Islands
The heart of the project continues to be the Canary Islands Band Showcase, for which the registration period will remain open until March 15.
From the proposals received, the projects that will be part of the official program will be selected. The process will be carried out by a team made up of professionals from the music sector and organizers of reference festivals.

Samantha Hudson opens the festival with her electronic and queer universe
The opening day of Thursday, April 9 will feature Samantha Hudson, who will perform at Aguere Cultural presenting her third album Música para Muñecas (Subterfuge, 2025).
An album that consolidates its identity as a queer icon of generation Z, combining:
- club electronics
- hard-tech
- acid
- bakala aesthetics
- sharp and confessional lyrics
In this work, Samantha addresses issues such as impostor syndrome, gender dysphoria, failure and euphoria from a political and emotional point of view that connects with the contemporary European scene.
His references dialogue with artists like Charli XCX, Arca, SOPHIE or Lady Gaga, but also with emerging voices like Sevdaliza or Cobrah.
The concert will also feature the participation in showcase format of one of the selected projects from the Canary Islands.
A generational and territorial crossover that defines the essence of the festival.
LALA SHOWCASES and the city as a stage
On Friday, April 10, La Laguna will be transformed into an urban music route with eight showcases in different cultural spaces.
This format turns the city into a live laboratory where:
- canarian bands present their music
- promoters and festivals look at new proposals
- journalists and critics discover new voices
Among the professionals expected to attend are representatives from festivals such as Sonidos Líquidos, Phe Festival, LPA Beer & Music Festival or Arrecife en Vivo.

LALA PRO is training, networking and the future.
On Saturday morning, April 11, the Museum of History and Anthropology of La Laguna will host LALA PRO, a professional day with:
- chats
- workshops
- networking spaces
Aimed at artists, managers and cultural agents, the initiative seeks to strengthen the musical fabric of the Canary Islands from within.
Because artistic development also needs structure.
Parquesvr closes with his mutant and generational rock
The closing will be in charge of Parquesvr, a band from Madrid that has managed to occupy its own territory between alternative rock, performance and viral culture.
Formed in 2017 and led by Javi Ferrara, the group has released three albums and is preparing the release of their fourth album Mitos y leyendas, scheduled for late April.
Their sound is an unpredictable hybrid:
- post-punk
- synth-pop
- hip-hop barrionalista
- theater of the absurd
- rock en castellano expanded
With lyrics that oscillate between ironic nihilism and generational reflection, Parquesvr has become one of the most singular bands in the Spanish alternative circuit.
At LALA MUSIC they will present live part of their new repertoire, including the recent singles Tonto, Rizo de gitana, Esto que vivimos and Mi peña.
A closing that promises electricity and attitude.
A festival that is already a strategic platform
Organized by Phe Team and supported by Turismo Islas Canarias, the Government of the Canary Islands and the City Council of La Laguna, LALA MUSIC consolidates its role as an important event for the Canary Islands:
