La Cendejas, the Spanish artist who has captivated Spotify with her track “PAENAMORAR”, presents her COLORS Showcase with “Colibrí”, a song that bares her soul and explores loss with a unique sensitivity.
COLORS, a platform recognized for its unique aesthetics and for giving voice to emerging artists, has chosen La Cendejas to join its select group of talents. Nathy Peluso, Trueno or María José Llergo are just some of the names that have passed through its stages.
For this special occasion, Paula Cendejas has selected “Colibrí”, the second advance of her EP Tsunami, which will be released in 2024. The artist opens up with this theme, using the metaphor of the hummingbird to tell a story of loss with honesty and purity.
Becoming the first artist to use projections on COLORS, La Cendejas also becomes the first female Warner Music Spain artist to record a performance for the platform. A milestone that consolidates his meteoric career.
In the words of Paula Cendejas: “Giving voice to people who go through grief like this is not easy. That courage makes ‘Colibrí’ a timeless tribute that will accompany those who experience grief, bringing them comfort in music”.
La Cendejas is positioned as one of the few Spanish artists to be part of COLORS, a platform that celebrates musical diversity without labels. Her EP Tsunami, due in April, promises to be a raw and honest work, where the artist explores her experiences of the last year with renewed maturity and empowerment.
A tsunami that sweeps away everything in its path, leaving the land ready to be built on again. Stronger, resilient and with a voice that resonates strongly in today’s music scene.
