The long awaited release date of Ice Spice’s debut album , ‘Y2K’, has finally been announced promising to heat up the summer with their new project. The Bronx native enthusiastically announced that fans will be able to enjoy her new work starting July 26.
To pay homage to their New York roots, Ice Spice unveiled the NYC-themed album cover. The image shows her standing with attitude in front of a subway station, sporting revealing denim shorts and vibrant green boots, with “Y2K” painted in hot pink on a nearby trash can.
Prior to the album’s release, Ice Spice has delighted fans with two singles: “Think U the Shit (Fart)” earlier this year and the more recent “Gimmie a Light,” which features a Sean Paul sample.
Ice Spice concluded the recording of ‘Y2K’ earlier this year and expressed its dedication to delivering high quality music. The artist assured her fans that the album would be concise but impactful.
