After hanging the “sold out” sign at Die Antwoord ‘s concert on Thursday, April 18, the group adds today a new concert in Barcelona. It will take place on Friday, April 19 at the Razzmatazz venue as part of the “REANIMATED” tour that will take place throughout the year. In 2019, South Africans Die Antwoord took a long break from constant touring around the world to do what they love most: music and art. Five years later they are back with a new tour and a documentary called ZEF The Story of Die Antwoord scheduled for release in early 2024. The film was produced and directed by filmmaker Jon Day, with art direction by surrealist photographer Roger Ballen and narration by Ninja and Yo-landi’s daughter, 16 Jones.
The mysterious duo has also been hard at work in the studio during this time, recording what will be their sixth album, entitled UIT DE HEMEL GEVALLEN which will be released at the end of next year.
