Bad Gyal presents her new single ‘ G ive Me ‘ as a preview of her debut album, La Joia (UMG, 2024), which will be released next Friday, January 26th through the UMG label. The production of the track features Scott Storch and Nely El Arma Secreta, who had previously worked with the artist separately on songs such as ‘Zorra‘ or ‘Slim Thick‘ (Storch) and ‘Judas‘ (Nely).
The single ‘Give Me‘ will join fourteen other tracks that will complete the LP, including unreleased collaborations with Anitta, Morad, Ñengo Flow and Tommy Lee Sparta, in addition to Myke Towers (‘Mi Lova’), Tokischa and Young Miko (‘Chulo pt. 2’) and Quevedo (‘Real G’).
The album cover features the work of Sheila Janet Pinas, who is responsible for the entire photographic universe of La Joia . In it, the young woman from Barcelona appears wearing a dress from the SS 2002 collection by Esteban Cortázar, also seen on the cover of ‘ Naughty Girl ‘ (Sony Music, 2003) by Beyoncé. With this reference the artist closes, together with the typography, a 90’s r&b aesthetic present in all the imaginary of the album.
The so-called “La Joia – 24 Karats Tour” will start on Friday, February 2 in Zaragoza and will visit the main pavilions in Spain until Saturday, April 13. The singer and songwriter announces a second date at the WiZink Center in Madrid for Sunday, April 7 after achieving a sold out date at the WiZink Center in Madrid. sold out the first date in just two weeks.
Advance tickets are on sale on the following platform D ICE from 41,87€. The tour also has international dates, the first countries confirmed being Colombia (Festival Estéreo Picnic), Mexico (Festival Ceremonia) and Germany (At Night Festival).
