La 68.ª edición de los Premios GRAMMY se celebró el 1 de febrero de 2026 en el Crypto.com Arena de Los Ángeles, con Trevor Noah como anfitrión por sexta (y última) vez, y con un tablero de mando tan elocuente como contradictorio: la gala quiso ser una postal de “industria unida”, pero acabó funcionando como termómetro cultural.
La gran foto de la noche la dibujan dos nombres —y dos modos de entender el estrellato contemporáneo—: Bad Bunny, que convirtió el “álbum latino” en lenguaje central del pop global al imponerse en Álbum del Año, y Kendrick Lamar, que dominó la conversación de la academia con una cosecha amplia de premios, incluida Grabación del Año junto a SZA.
En paralelo, la ceremonia confirmó una tendencia: los GRAMMYs se están reescribiendo como un mapa de escenas (latina, africana, regional estadounidense, alternativa, etc.) más que como un único “centro” anglo. Y eso se notó tanto en el reparto (de rock a música global) como en el diseño: esta edición llegó con ajustes de categorías y reglas (incluyendo nuevas distinciones como Best Traditional Country Album y Best Album Cover).

Por qué esta gala importó (más allá del palmarés)
- La victoria de Bad Bunny en Álbum del Año funciona como síntoma: la academia, siempre lenta, está aceptando que el “mainstream” ya no es un idioma único.
- Kendrick Lamar consolidó algo más difícil que ganar: marcar agenda (categorías, conversación, prestigio).
- La gala también dejó claro que, con 95 premios (la mayoría fuera del prime time), el GRAMMY actual es un ecosistema: si uno solo mira la ceremonia televisada, se pierde la película.
