Blam de Lam: A sonorous journey to the inaccessible of maturity
Blam de Lam, the band from Jaén born in Martos at the end of 2009, returns with strength after a few years of lethargy. His new album, “Punto Nemo”, is an introspective journey into the depths of maturity and reflection, through an experimental sound that fuses elements of pop with cosmic atmospheres.
The group’s name, Blam de Lam, comes from an onomatopoeia found in a poem by Bob Dylan, which refers to the sound of a bang or a bang. This choice reflects the band’s pursuit of “musical expressionism”, where the songs move away from common structures to explore uncomfortable moods and diffuse meanings.
“Punto Nemo”, released on vinyl by Lunar Discos label, is an exciting, timeless, dynamic and electric album. Their songs alternate pop elements with cosmic sounds without complexes, without losing sight of the classic structure of verse and chorus.
The album’s title, “Nemo Point”, refers to the Pacific’s pole of inaccessibility, the farthest place in the ocean from any land. This metaphor becomes a common thread to explore the existential doubts of the protagonist, who faces maturity and reflection.
