We can now see Timothée Chalamet singing in the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown”.

The first trailer for the long-awaited biopic is here

The anticipated biopic about the life of Bob Dylan, “A Complete Unknown,” starring Timothée Chalamet, will hit theaters next year. But does the actor sing like Dylan in the movie?

A new trailer for “A Complete Unknown” was released on July 24 and in it we get our first glimpse of Chalamet as the folk icon.

The new film will hit theaters in January 2025 and will see Chalamet take on the role of Dylan during his early years of fame.

The synopsis reads, “Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 1960s, ‘A Complete Unknown’ follows the meteoric rise of 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) as a folk singer to the concert halls and the top of the charts, turning his songs and his mystery into a worldwide sensation, culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.”

The film stars Chalamet alongside Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Dan Fogler, Norbert Leo Buzt and Scoot McNairy.

Chalamet sings several Dylan songs during the film. In the latest trailer, we can hear him singing one of Dylan’s biggest hits, ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’.

Director James Mangold confirmed last year that Chalamet would sing in “A Complete Unknown,” and the actor had already showcased his vocal skills in the Christmas musical film “Wonka.”
