Attention Parcels fans! The beloved Australian indie-pop band has taken an unexpected and exciting turn with the release of their new EP, ‘Leaveyourlove’ a few weeks ago. In an unprecedented move, the band has invited artists from around the world to reinvent one of their most beloved tracks, marking the first time they have collaborated with guest artists.

From the beginning, it was clear to the band that ‘Leaveyourlove’ deserved something special. “The song was a simple and fun expression of love from different angles”, they explain. Pat, Jules and Noah traded verses and enjoyed the process so much that the idea of opening the song up to outside collaborations quickly emerged. “We imagined friends and artists from all over the world joining in with their own expressions of love in different languages and styles,” they added. Thus was born this EP that feels bigger and deeper than the original song.

And boy did they pull it off! ‘Leaveyourlove’ features impressive collaborations: King Stingray brings his distinctive Yolŋu Matha language, while Ximena Sariñana and Rawayana inject a vibrant Latin energy with Spanish verses that makes you can understand what the band would sound like if they made music in the language of Cervantes. Also joining them are Berlin house legends Robert Owens and Tobi Neumann, talented indie-folk artist MARO and Taiwan’s Cosmos People and Sunset Rollercoaster’s HaoTing, who add a unique cultural dimension with Mandarin verses.

This release comes on the heels of Parcels’ monumental world tour, with sold-out performances at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and renowned festivals like Bonnaroo. With over a billion streams and a double platinum debut album, the band is already preparing their next big hit: a long-awaited third studio album that promises to surprise even more.

Parcels has proven that music has no boundaries, and ‘Leaveyourlove’ is proof of that. Get ready to listen to a collaborative masterpiece that redefines their sound and conquers new horizons!
