Salomee recalls, “I was three and a half years old when I was at the city festival in Heiligenhaus and saw a performance by the Starlight Musical Academy.” From that moment on, she was fascinated and wanted to join the music academy. Her mother, Jolanta, comments, “Salomee had also done ballet, but something was always missing.” From a very young age, Salomee has been singing at home, in kindergarten and at school. She also enjoys dancing and performing, which makes the music academy the perfect place for her.
For Salomee, singing is more than a hobby; it is her passion. “I love to experiment and when I sing, I feel very calm.” This sense of calm that singing gives you will come in handy, as you have recently been recording a song in a music studio with a professional producer.
That Salomee has come so far is not only due to her voice, but also to her enthusiasm for music and her determination. He responded to a call from Arixmusic for a musical project that was originally planned in a different way. “We actually wanted to do an anime song,” recalls producer Bülent Aris, who has worked with successful bands and musicians such as N’Sync, Backstreet Boys and Sarah Connor.
Salomee received two songs, “Wildberry Lillet” and “Supernova.” “I had to learn one in a day,” he recalls, “but I learned both right away.” He then went to the studio in Düsseldorf. “We wanted to see how Salomee would perform in the situation,” explains the producer. “A successful singer needs much more than a good voice; he or she must be able to interpret the song correctly.” Salomee was very nervous at first, but when she started singing, she calmed down completely.
Bülent Aris was impressed with the young artist’s talent and, together with his team, wrote a song for her. Thus, Salomee became the youngest artist on the team. “Billion Dollar Smile” is a song that “fits me perfectly,” says Salomee..
