Musical legends The Rolling Stones are making worldwide headlines with the release of their rockin’ single ‘ Angry which comes along with the announcement of his long-awaited new album, entitled Hackney Diamonds (Universal Music, 2023), which will be released next Friday, October 20 via Universal Music.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have shared the exciting news at a special media launch event at the historic Hackney Empire, the epicenter of pioneering art in East London for more than a hundred years. The presentation was hosted by U.S. star Jimmy Fallon and broadcast around the world on the platform YouTube platform .
The English band’s new LP will consist of a dozen songs, with the complete list to be unveiled soon, and will be recorded in various locations around the world, including the following countries Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, Metrópolis Studios of London, Sanctuary Studios of Bahamas, Electric Lady Studios in New York and The Hit Factory, also in New York.
The full-length album is his first studio release of new material since A Bigger Bang (Universal Music, 2005), released 18 years ago. Since then, the Stones have continued to break box-office records for fun with their world tours and released seven years ago Blue & Lonesome (Universal Music, 2016), a Grammy Award winner, which included covers of many of the blues tunes that helped create their sound.
Their new album marks Mick, Keith and Ronnie’ s first collaboration with New York-based producer and musician Andrew Watt, named “producer of the year” at the 2021 Grammys who has worked with renowned artists such as Pearl Jam, Iggy Pop, Elton John, Post Malone, Ozzy Osbourne and Future, among others.
The exhilarating ‘Angry‘ is accompanied by a music video directed by Francois Rousselet and starring Emmy-nominated actress, young American Sydney Sweeney (The White Lotus, Euphoria, The Handmaid’s Tale), and is available on the YouTube platform, where it has accumulated more than 8 million views.
