The Last Dinner Party has announced a film titled Prelude to Ecstasy, a follow-up to their debut album of the same name.

The film will be released on September 12, and the band has invited fans to join them at the premiere in Soho, London.You will be able to watch it on YouTube on the same day at 8 p.m.
In their announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter, the band wrote: “‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ the movie, arrives September 12. We cordially invite you to delight with us at the London premiere in Soho.”
Rise of The Last Dinner Party
The band was formed in 2021 and has since had an impressive rise. Their debut single, Nothing Matters, released in April 2023, was a smash hit. Last December, they were awarded the Rising Star BRIT Award, beating out artists such as Caity Baser and Sekou. Shortly after, they also won the BBC Sound of 2024 poll.
Successful ‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ Album
The album Prelude to Ecstasy was released on February 2, reaching the number one spot in the UK. It became the best-selling debut album in its first week in nine years, since Communion by Years & Years. It has also been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize.
