Symphonic concert in tribute to AC/DC

As a tribute to AC/DC ‘s 50-year reign as the best rock and roll band in the world, the city of Leganés will offer a spectacular Symphonic Tribute Concert. More than 80 musicians from the School-Conservatory of Music ‘Manuel Rodríguez Sales’ of Leganés, will perform 10 of the great classic songs of the band, in a unique event. It will be held on March 13 at 7 pm at the José Monleón Theater, inside the José Saramago Civic Center in Leganés.

The city of Leganés is one of the few cities in the world to have its own AC/DC Street, making it the perfect place for the band’s 50th anniversary celebration. Prior to the spectacular symphonic concert, thenew AC/DC Street plaque will be unveiled, with a brand new design that includes the band’s 50th anniversary logo.

To round off all the celebrations, AC/DC’s complete discography will be released on special edition gold vinyl. The first 9 titles will be released onMarch 15, and are already available for pre-order. The first batch of releases includes the following nine classic albums: Back In Black , Highway to Hell , The Razors Edge , Powerage , For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) , High Voltage , Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap , Who Made Who y Live . New editions of the remaining titles will be published throughout the year.
