Mediterranean pop has a new standard and it’s called “Ciao Amore”. The Murcian artist Malva and the Italian revelation Enula sign an unexpected, sincere and powerful collaboration that promises to break hearts and dance floors on both sides of the Mediterranean.
The song comes on the heels of Malva’s recent nomination at the 2025 Academy of Music Awards for Best Pop/Rock Album for their acclaimed debut Contenido Sensible. And there could be no better way to celebrate than with this new single: a stylish blend of electronic pop, personality-filled vocals and production that shines with sensitivity.
“Ciao Amore”: from heartbreak to emotional empowerment.
Recorded at the Casa Estudio Arde el Arte in Murcia and produced by Ricardo Ruipérez (M-Clan), Ciao Amore is a luminous but melancholy piece. In their verses, Malva and Enula explore the end of a relationship marked by anguish and reproaches, but from a place of inner strength.
“It is a cry for healing, a sincere farewell letter, without drama but with all the emotion,” explains Malva.
The lyrics walk between emotional rawness and hopeful whisper, framed by an enveloping melody and vocal harmonies that elevate the song to a category of an epic and summery electronic ballad in equal parts.
Enula: a voice with Italian soul
The inclusion of Enula, one of Italy’s most promising emerging voices, gives the track an international flavor that transcends borders. The artist, known for her participation in Amici and her recent collaborations with artists such as Tiromancino, brings a strummed sweetness that blends with Malva’s intensity, achieving an undeniable sonic chemistry.
With Ciao Amore, Enula makes its debut in the Spanish market, and does so through the front door.
