The Canadian artist and songwriter is preparing to unveil new musical material under the title “Five Easy Hot Dogs” this year.
DeMarco has landed strong this New Year. Just three days before the start of 2023, the music magazine Pitchfork gave the exclusive that their next studio album will be released in the coming months. “Five Easy Hot Dogs” is the title of a computation of sounds in the form of songs that, according to the singer, is a full-length instrumental recorded between Utah and Los Angeles.
What songs are on Mac DeMarco’s “Five Easy Hot Dogs”?
“Five Easy Hot Dogs” will contain a total of 14 tracks whose titles refer to the different cities in which they have been composed. Mac DeMarco’s new album will be available on January 20th. With more than ten albums behind him, Mac DeMarco increases his musical background by accumulating experiences and turning them into songs while trying to be included in that group of society that is trying to quit smoking. As he says in a press release, “I tried to keep busy all the time traveling from city to city; I would just walk around until someone recognized me and I had an interaction from which to start a song. In this way I met a lot of interesting people and lived incredible experiences”.
