Kings of Leon Return with Roar: “Mustang” and “Can We Please Have Fun”.

The kings of Southern rock, Kings of Leon, are back with a vengeance, stepping on the gas with their new single “Mustang” and exciting details about their upcoming album, “Can We Please Have Fun”. The Followill brothers, Caleb, Nathan and Jared, along with their cousin Matthew, are set to usher in a new era with this release.

“Mustang” is an electrifying barrage of rock energy, offering a preview of the fresh and vibrant sound that permeates their ninth studio album. The music video, with high-energy imagery and vintage aesthetics, perfectly complements the unbridled power of the song.

Since their last album in 2021, “When You See Yourself,” which included hits such as “The Bandit” and “100,000 People,” the band has been hard at work on this new material. Produced by Kid Harpoon, “Can We Please Have Fun,” to be released May 10 via Polydor Records, reflects the band’s collaborative and experimental spirit, with a focus on enjoying the creative process.

Caleb describes the recording experience as the most pleasurable he has ever had, highlighting the musical vulnerability that the band has captured in the songs. Drummer Nathan concurs, expressing his appreciation for the freedom to explore different musical avenues without the pressure to constantly turn up the volume.

“Can We Please Have Fun” is now available for pre-order, and the track list promises a diverse and exciting musical experience, with tracks such as “Ballerina Radio,” “Rainbow Ball” and “Nowhere To Run.”
