Kike M and La Joven Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Salamanca will perform the songs of ‘Cantares de Arcilla’, the second album of the singer and composer from Salamanca Kike M.
With this second work Kike M wants to bring us closer to the visual imaginary of the Sierra de Francia, through the elaboration of ten sculptural pieces that represent each of the songs on the album. They are animal representations inspired by the typical Serrano embroidery of his village: San Martín del Castañar.
The sound and poetic maturity of the artist grows with songs that address issues such as identity or love. This album is postulated as a bridge between Castilian Folk, New Folk and current Rock.
The concert will be on Sunday, December 15, at 19h. in the impressive auditorium of the CAEM(Centro de Artes Escénicas y de la Música), located at Avenida de las Artes 45-55 in Salamanca. The orchestra will be conducted by Pablo Cabero and Kike M will be accompanied by his regulars: José Bueno on electric guitar, Manu Clavijo on lead violin, Andrés Cemillán on bass and Gabriel Vidanauta on drums, as well as the choirs of the Salamanca singer-songwriter and poet Sandra “Zarzamora” Zamora.
