Brian Eno summons artists to Wembley with a clear message: “Together for Palestine”.

At 76, Brian Eno remains not only an essential figure in experimental music, but also one of the most lucid and courageous voices of artistic activism. The iconic producer and ambient pioneer has announced “Together for Palestine”, a benefit concert to be held on September 17 at London’s Wembley Arena. An event that seeks to raise millions in humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza, and at the same time break a silence that, for decades, has weighed on the Western cultural world.

“For years, many of us have kept quiet for fear of reprisals. But we can no longer remain silent,” declares Eno.

✊ A night not to be silent any longer.

With tickets available for pre-sale from Monday, August 4 at 10:00 (UK time), the event is billed as “a night of music, reflection and hope“. Although the line-up has not yet been confirmed, the message is unmistakable: artists from around the world will come together, either in person or by video, to raise a collective cry against violence and for human dignity.

The event will be channeled through the Choose Love organization, a British NGO specializing in aid to conflict zones. Every pound raised will go to local Palestinian organizations on the ground.

📣 Art as testimony

Eno, who has collaborated with legends such as David Bowie, U2, Talking Heads or Coldplay, has always been a committed artist. But this step forward is different. Beyond the music, it is a political and deeply human gesture.

“What we are witnessing in Gaza is not a mystery. It is not about ‘opposing narratives.’ It’s called genocide by organizations like Amnesty International or Doctors Without Borders. And we, as artists, have a responsibility to say something.”

🧭 Not the only one: other concerts in Palestine

“Together for Palestine” is not a one-off event. From October 3-5, Washington D.C. will host the “Punks for Palestine” festival at St. Stephen’s Church, with bands such as pageninetynine, Majority Rule and Uniform. An artistic movement that grows every day, making visible that culture can – and must – have a voice in times of moral urgency.
