Eleven years after their last album, \n \n \n Lex Hives<\/strong>\n <\/a>\n <\/em>\n<\/span> (Disque Hives, 2012), the Swedes announce a new work that they will come to present us next October. The quintet will be on Wednesday<\/strong> October<\/strong> 4th<\/strong> at Razzmatazz<\/strong> in Barcelona<\/strong>, Thursday October 5th<\/strong> at La Riviera<\/strong> in Madrid<\/strong> and Saturday October 7th<\/strong> at the Capitol<\/strong> in Santiago de Compostela<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

\n The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons<\/em>\n<\/strong> (Fuga, 2023), to be released on Friday<\/strong>, August<\/strong> 11<\/strong>, will be the Scandinavians’ sixth studio album<\/strong>, a work that fans of the Fagersta<\/strong> band have been waiting for more than a decade. And with that thunderous first teaser entitled ‘\n \n Bogus Operandi<\/strong>\n <\/a>\n<\/span>‘, we can say that the wait has been worth it.<\/p>\n\n

In the twenty-five years since the quintet of Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist<\/strong> (vocals), Nicholaus Arson<\/strong> (guitar), Vigilante Carlstroem<\/strong> (guitar), The Johan And Only<\/strong> (bass) and Chris Dangerous<\/strong> (drums) exploded around the world, they have sold out shows and shared the stage with many artists, from AC\/DC<\/strong> to The Rolling Stones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Music media such as SPIN<\/strong> call The Hives<\/strong> “the best live band on the planet<\/em>” and their vocalist “the best frontman in rock<\/em>“, while the UK’s BBC<\/strong> dubbed the band “a force of nature<\/em>“. Any adjective is an understatement in the face of these stage beasts, one of the best rock and roll bands in the world.<\/p>\n\n
