The President of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda<\/strong>, Juan Manuel Moreno<\/strong>announced yesterday at a press conference that the Community will be the chosen location for the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences<\/strong> to house the Latin Grammy Awards<\/a> ceremony<\/strong> in this year’s edition.<\/p>\n\n

To date, it is not known which city will be chosen to host the great Latin and international music festival, although everything seems to indicate that the selected city will be Seville<\/strong>. According to the politician, “I believe that Seville has more than enough requirements because of its link with the Latin world and because it is used to organizing large events<\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n

Likewise, the Mayor of the city of Seville<\/strong>, Antonio Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>commented on his profile on the social network Twitter that “we have shown that Seville is ready to host major international events.<\/em>“The locality has previously hosted two editions of the Goya Awards<\/strong>one of the MTV Europe Music Awards<\/strong> and the great parade of Dior<\/strong>among others.<\/p>\n\n

According to Moreno<\/strong>, the agreement signed between the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda and the Academy of Music<\/strong> will run for three years,<\/strong> that is, until 2025. Without offering further details, the President also confirmed that the region will also organize two major concerts<\/strong>, on a date to be confirmed<\/strong>. It should be noted that this will be the first time in the history of the Awards that the ceremony will be held away from the United<\/strong> States.<\/p>\n\n
