Three years after Motomami<\/em>, Rosal\u00eda returns with Lux<\/em>, an album that seems more like a revelation than a simple release.The Catalan artist – one of the few contemporary figures who can move the industry at the stroke of a concept – will release the album on November 7, 2025<\/strong> under Columbia Records, with 18 songs divided into four movements and a message that, according to herself, “speaks of light, love and creation”.<\/p>\n\n

From shadow to light, the most awaited return of the year<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The presentation of Lux<\/em> was not a traditional announcement, but a collective experience.First, a score titled “Berghain”<\/strong> posted on her Substack<\/em> channel, which thousands of fans performed at the piano on networks.Then, posters and projections with the word LUX<\/em> appeared simultaneously in Times Square (New York)<\/strong> and Plaza del Callao (Madrid)<\/strong>.And finally, the definitive image: Rosal\u00eda, dressed in white, walking through the crowd as an urban apparition.<\/p>\n\n

The message was clear: Motomami<\/em> spoke of energy and flesh. Lux<\/em> will speak of spirit and form.<\/p>\n\n

“I wanted to reflect a transition -from noise to silence, from the external to the intimate-. Lux<\/em> is not just an album, it’s a question: where does the light come from?”, the artist reportedly said in conversations with those close to her, according to sources reported by El Pa\u00eds<\/em> and Cadena SER<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n

A monumental project<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Lux<\/em> is conceived as a concept album in four acts<\/strong>, a format closer to classical music or cinema than to conventional pop.Produced by Rosal\u00eda together with El Guincho, Dan\u00edel Bjarnason, Kito and Noah Goldstein<\/strong>, it features the London Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, recordings at Abbey Road Studio 2 and mixes by Manny Marroquin in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n

Confirmed collaborations include Bj\u00f6rk<\/strong>, Carminho<\/strong>, Yves Tumor<\/strong>, Estrella Morente<\/strong> and Silvia P\u00e9rez Cruz<\/strong>: a roster that sums up the artist’s hybrid DNA.The result promises a cinematic sound, with layers of choral vocals, processed percussion and string arrangements intersecting with minimalist beats and industrial noise.<\/p>\n\n

From Motomami<\/em> to Lux<\/em>, a leap into maturity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

If Motomami<\/em> was a centrifuge of genres -reggaeton, flamenco, hyperpop-, Lux<\/em> seems to look towards another place: introspection.Where before there was chaos and vertigo, now there is containment, an almost mystical search.<\/p>\n\n

The artist has shown in her latest appearances an aesthetic marked by the liturgical and celestial<\/strong>: gauze, crucifixes, white lights and a symbolism that alludes to purification.In her feed<\/em>, the phrases “Lux = Love<\/em>” and “The light is not seen, it is felt<\/em>” have advanced part of the emotional discourse of the album.<\/p>\n\n
