An incendiary song in which the band shares vocals with Cristina Mart\u00ednez Lana<\/strong>, vocalist of El Columpio Asesino<\/strong>, and that Zarata\/Mondo Sonoro<\/strong> exclusively premieres with a videoclip that multiplies the intensity of this new stage. <\/p>\n\n From the first bars, “Arde”<\/strong> is presented as a contained outburst, a spark that ends up devouring everything in its path. The collaboration with Cristina Mart\u00ednez Lana<\/strong> is much more than a cameo: their voices merge in an emotional dialogue that grows into a fire. “The song could well have been called ‘F\u00e9nix'”,<\/strong>confesses the band, “but here what we let it burn”. <\/p>\n\n In terms of sound, the track draws from synth-pop<\/strong>, post-punk<\/strong> and minimalist electronica<\/strong>. There are pulses inherited from Kraftwerk<\/strong>, dense atmospheres that refer to Ultravox<\/strong> and The Human League<\/strong>, and a narrative that seeks to provoke constant emotional tension. “Arde”<\/strong> breathes, beats and, as its title promises, burns from within: an inevitable premonition that unfolds in layers of synthesizers, hypnotic beats and vocal lines charged with electricity. <\/p>\n\n “Arde” is the second piece of the puzzle that will make up “Sobredosis”,<\/strong> Caballos Yonkis<\/strong> ‘ debut album<\/strong> that will arrive next September 19.<\/strong> In June 2025<\/strong>, the band presented “Salvaci\u00f3n”,<\/strong> the first advance, an introspective song that revolves around the concept of eternal return<\/strong>: everything that happens, will happen again, and every act -no matter how small- acquires an infinite value. <\/p>\n\n If “Salvaci\u00f3n”<\/strong> represented contemplation, “Arde”<\/strong> is its inevitable reverse: catharsis, emotional explosion, the impossibility of containing the intensity of what has been lived. Both songs anticipate an album loaded with layers and nuances, a sonic journey that promises to consolidate the band as one of the most stimulating names of the alternative scene. <\/p>\n\n The sound of Caballos Yonkis<\/strong> does not arise in a vacuum. Their proposal connects with artists from the late 70′<\/strong> s and early 80′<\/strong>s, moving between post-punk<\/strong> and atmospheric electronica<\/strong>. Echoes of Brian Eno<\/strong>, Gary Numan<\/strong>, Ultravox<\/strong> and The Human League<\/strong> are perceived in every texture, while, vocally, the band evokes the intimacy of Leonard Cohen<\/strong>, the melancholy of R.E.M.<\/strong>, the minimalism of The Smashing Pumpkins<\/strong> and the elegant darkness of the Norwegians Madrugada<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n Behind Caballos Yonkis<\/strong> we find names with a solid trajectory in independent music. Led by musician and composer Pedro Gracia P\u00e9rez de Vi\u00f1aspre<\/strong>(Havoc, Nacho Vegas<\/em>) and producer I\u00f1aki de Lucas<\/strong>(La Buena Vida, El Columpio Asesino, Rafael Berrio<\/em>), the band is completed by Ander Vild\u00f3sola<\/strong> and Jaime Nieto<\/strong>, both members of key projects such as El Columpio Asesino<\/strong> and We Are Standard<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n This sum of talents explains the richness of their proposal: a collective project that combines experience, sensitivity and creative risk.<\/p>\n\n With “Sobredosis”, Caballos Yonkis<\/strong> seem determined to break through in the national and international scene. A little less than a month after its release, their proposal is already shaping up to be one of the most interesting releases of the year for those looking for electronic pop with soul, concept and emotional depth. <\/p>\n\n September 19<\/strong> will not only be the date on which an album is released: it will be the consolidation of an artistic identity that plays with fire, nostalgia and experimentation.<\/p>\n\n
