From September 18 to 21,<\/strong> the Old Port of Getxo (Bizkaia)<\/strong> will once again become a stage where music meets solidarity<\/strong>. The fourth edition of DalecandELA Fest<\/strong> is coming, a free event that brings together some of the most powerful artists of the current scene with a clear objective: to give visibility to ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)<\/strong>, raise funds for research and accompany those who suffer from it. <\/p>\n\n This year, the festival presents its most ambitious lineup to date<\/strong>, combining big names with emerging bets. Iv\u00e1n Ferreiro<\/strong>, Le\u00f3n Benavente<\/strong>, Coti<\/strong>, Los Zigarros<\/strong>, Carlos Ares<\/strong>, Susan Santos<\/strong> and Gari<\/strong> lead a program that will also feature fresh proposals such as Santi Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong>, Swingtronics<\/strong>, Los Toldos<\/strong>, Hornies<\/strong>, Moses & The Tablets<\/strong> and the energetic The Rock&Kids Band.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The DalecandELA Fest is much more than a series of concerts: it is a meeting point for the community<\/strong>. For four days, Getxo will be filled with artistic, sporting, children’s and gastronomic activities, generating a festive atmosphere that combines awareness, culture and entertainment<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n Admission is free<\/strong>, but the organization encourages all attendees to donate to ALS research and support for patients and their families.<\/p>\n\n “Our goal is to make the disease visible, raise funds and, above all, celebrate life with optimism, joy and spirit of overcoming”, explain from DalecandELA<\/strong>, the association that since 2019 has been promoting this solidarity project.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n The lineup for this fourth edition brings together the best of national music, with a mix of styles<\/strong> ranging from alternative rock<\/strong> to folk-pop<\/strong>, soul<\/strong>, blues<\/strong> and indie sounds. Among the confirmed artists, the following stand out: <\/p>\n\n Each performance will have a special character: it is not only music, but a collective cry<\/strong> for research, empathy and the right to live with dignity.<\/p>\n\n The DalecandELA Association<\/strong> was born in 2019 with a double objective: to give visibility to ALS<\/strong> and improve the quality of life of patients<\/strong>. Since then, they have promoted artistic projects, sports challenges, motivational talks, solidarity trips<\/strong> and even a soundtrack recorded by Getxo musicians<\/strong> for charity. <\/p>\n\n The DalecandELA Fest is their flagship event and, in just four editions, has established itself as one of the most important solidarity festivals in the Basque Country<\/strong>.
