Composer Hans Zimmer<\/strong> returns to the Dune universe with the soundtrack for Dune: The Second Part<\/strong>, a grandiose and expansive continuation of the more intimate and melancholic beginning of the first film. This change of tone allows Zimmer to weave a truly spectacular thematic tapestry, with the most outstanding addition: an absolutely captivating love theme for Paul and Chani.<\/p>\n\n

The score begins with “Beginnings Are Such Delicate Times”<\/strong>, where the characteristic Arrakis drums resonate melancholically, evoking the atmosphere of the first film. “Harvester Attack”<\/strong> immerses you in the action with malevolent vocals, intense percussion and towering electronics<\/strong>. Paul’s theme bursts in at the end with screeching vocals<\/strong> in a triumphant victory.<\/p>\n\n

“Worm Ride”<\/strong> and “Ornithopter Attack”<\/strong> keep up the frenetic pace with distorted electronics and pounding percussion<\/strong>. “Each Man Is A Little War”<\/strong> creates a haunting atmosphere with ambient and electronic sounds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

“Only I Will Remain”<\/strong> repeats the opening notes of the Atreides House and love themes, building to a crescendo that culminates with the motif of “Holy War”<\/strong> transformed into Paul’<\/strong>s victory theme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

“Lisan Al Gaib”<\/strong> begins with Kwisatz Haderach’s theme on electric guitar, followed by melancholic strings and Paul’s motif<\/strong>. The score ends with a mystical resonance<\/strong> of the main theme<\/p>\n\n
